I was honestly staring at my counter trying to figure out where I would put it. I suppose I could put my fruit bowl and the boxed wine somewhere else.

Well, help me on the house hunting thread, then. Dammit, Jim, I need counter space! Ohhh, yeah. You need a house with lots of counters. Or cabinets. I store most of my small appliances in cabinets. The stuff I use the least goes in the basement. I love my kitchen, but my counter space bites monkey ass.

If anyone is rushing out to buy one, I got mine on sale at Macys yesterday. The 6 quart Brio Nuwave…which is normally 189.99 is on sale for 129.99.

Can it cook fish? I didn’t see that on the list. Usually 2 portions of salmon take me 20 min I’m a preheated regular oven...

I don't think it would do a good job of fish. The paddle that turns around in the fryer tends to "beat foods up" pretty good. Potatoes can handle it, so could chicken nuggets, or wings, but I think fish would just crumble a lot. I tried onion rings and it mashed them up pretty good.

I just found out, from reading on some websites, that you don't have to leave the paddle in to cook things like pre-breaded fish or breaded shrimp. Apparently you just put it in without the paddle, and turn it when it's halfway done. I'm definitely going to try that.

I really want an air fryer. Is there a brand you all recommend? I got a Big Boss because of the large capacity and it was crap, so I sent it back.

We bought one and it is sitting unused now. We are back to using the instant pot a lot more now though.
The air fryer does an ok job but I don’t like cleaning the wire basket bottom afterwards

It comes in purple!!! but they were out of that color when I got mine. I don’t find it difficult to clean at all. I probably use it about 5 or 6 times a week. I have finally perfected frozen mozzarella sticks... ooey, gooey, and the cheese is on the inside!!!
