Happy Monday all. It's another scorcher here - ds has a PA day and I'm taking the day off to chill with him. Sadly he's not feeling well so it will probably be a pretty chill day. I'm going out for a walk before it gets too hot.

When I went to the board this morning I got a message to come here because WBTD was under threat. When I tried just now I got a connection error fail and my anti-virus software flagged it as a threat and broke the connection. Says that WBTD is infected - what the hell happened over theree?

3rd rainy day in a row here. Loving it. I was really tired of that 90+ weather. Dh and I kicked it down a notch or 2 this weekend and basically did nothing. Dh of course was grumbling last night about how guilty he feels but I told him he needed it. It has been a crazy crazy year and it is okay to unwind every now and then. Going to go over to my mom's today and do some more work in her room.  I am making little baby steps in progress. I realized last night as I was thinking about all the million things that I have to do that I did not write out thank you notes from June when my mom passed. I am really surprised that my mother has not come from where ever to smack me along side the head about it. I know I should but I really don't want to go through it all. It will only make me sad and put me in a funk. |

Daydreaming Monday for me. My childhood home is up for sale. I am still in love with it, and my memories of it. Seriously considering the financial ramifications of selling my house right now, for a more expensive home.(I'd end up with not quite double my current mortgage) I really do not like my house or the location it is in, but my mortgage is cheap! I think I am going to look at it next weekend. Hopefully I will get over the urge!

So I can't figure out how to a) multi quote and b) I guess we don't have codes for smileys and we have to insert them - but apparently not from quick reply!

You're already dealing with enough and then you have to sit down and write thank you notes on top of that. I'm sure I'm in the minority but that's just something that bugs me. I have zero motivation today. I turned my alarm off Friday and forgot to turn it back on so I slept later than I should have today.  |

I have to go get my follow up ultrasound on my legs. I'm pissed off at my dad's nursing home. I may vent about that later. It's hotter than hell here. Can't wait till Friday when it's cooling off.
I remarked to DH that the leaves seem to be changing, but I think it's just that they are dying because it's so hot and we are in a drought. My lawn looks like a brown carpet as we don't water.

I accidentally paid my credit card twice. A BIG payment, too. So money is all gone until payday. lol Oops. I had some cash for groceries fortunately. Oh well, I really needed to pay a bunch on that card anyway.
Went to work, ran errands, cleaned house, did a mile on the treadmill now taking a rest until I have to leave to pick a kid up from school in 20 minutes.
