This is old news - Clinton's team paying Fusion for the dossier was reported on last year. Someone in the GOP primary (Jeb, I'm guessing) paid for the dossier to be collected; when they dropped out, Clinton's team bought it. It's opposition research. It's standard practice in all campaigns. TPM: What is NOT standard practice is colluding with a foreign power, which is what the Trump team did, and it's illegal, and I suspect we'll be hearing more about that from Robert Mueller.

What's wrong with that? If I felt my opponent was cheating and doing something harmful to the inner most processes of my nation, I'd pay to have it investigated, too! :|

Democrats furtively funding dubious opposition research, then misleading journalists about is a minor scandal. Democrats furtively funding dubious opposition research that allegedly enlisted senior Russian sources to spread salacious disinformation about the Republican presidential nominee, however, is deeply ironic, given the Great Russian Scare they've been pumping for months. It appears as though some officials at the highest reaches of the party were at least indirectly facilitating Russian interference in the 2016 election.
For months the Dems and their media lapdogs have been "Russia, Russia, Russia... impeach Trump". But now it appears that it is they who may have colluded with the Russians to influence the Presidential election. But it's OK if you're a Democrat, right?

Did they collude directly with the Russians or did they hire an ex-British spy through a company called Orbis International that specializes in providing information to private and government sector clients? Seems like it's the latter. Whether that is illegal or not, I don't know. It's smarmy as is all political shit. Don't forget that Republicans in opposition to Trump, who are still unknown, allegedly originally hired the firm. The intelligence community is pretty certain the Russians meddled in the elections. We do need to know if EITHER campaign colluded with them. That is the fundamental question.

I don't remember any Republican that Dems didn't say was scary and/or stupid. I don't remember any time a Republican won when the Dems didn't say it was because of angry white males,
You cry wolf enough times, it can fall on deaf ears when the real wolf comes.

It's okay to collude with the Russians to influence the elections and promote false stories if its your team doing it. I wish I had $2 for everyone I knew who posted this on FB. I could buy a nice dinner.
