That is not a fact. That is your belief. Still curious about your thoughts on requiring all men to get vasectomies. Such a requirement would be a violation of men's civil rights. The Christian evangelical theocratic state summed up in one sentence.

We couldn’t possibly make men undergo a safe, easily-reversible outpatient procedure that would prevent nearly all unwanted pregnancies, when we can force women to go through 9 months of an unwanted pregnancy at significantly greater health risk than a vasectomy would be to men. Not to mention the life-altering and lifelong impact of having a child. Men should be allowed to spread their seed freely and without consequence! It’s only the women who have to pay the price, after all, and we all know women aren’t as important as men or fetuses. People like you are the worst kind of Christian. Cruelty wrapped up in piety. Gross.

It would also not be practical because it would be hard to find enough doctors to perform this procedure on everyone. So a minor outpatient procedure which causes pain for a few days and then prevents pregnancies is a violation of men's civil rights...but gestating a fetus for 9 months, going through labor and delivery, and either raising a child or giving it up for adoption is NOT a violation of a woman's? So in short, you just don't believe women have rights, just men do.

Misogyny and demands for big government are baked into the cake of conservative Christianity, and they demonstrate it every day.

Yeah, lives with no assistance from the state that so desperately wanted them to be born in the first place. Admit it, the GOP doesn’t give a crap about kids once they’re born. Taking care of children is the responsibility of their parents, not the state. The responsibility of the state is to make sure fathers do their part in caring for their children. How to you know the GOP doesn't care about children? Can you read their minds? you make no fucking sense.. Taking care of these unwanted babies is the responsibility of the parents (how privileged of you to assume there are parents) But forcing a woman to give birth is the responsibility of the govt? Fuck off with that bullshit.

Why do I need to consider that? I don’t believe in God, and if your God is cool with women being raped, forced to carry a pregnancy to term, and then told it is “a good thing”, I have no interest in signing up because that is cruel and disgusting. And how nonsensical of you to bring bible verses into it. We are talking about the law, not religion. One think you do actually need to consider is that not everyone follows your particular brand of religion, and your personal religious beliefs do not supersede other people’s beliefs. Or the law. Any thoughts on all men having vasectomies to cut down the vast majority of unwanted births? I am aware of these facts. I am also aware of the fact that God is in control of the world and everything in it. His commands supercede all of our laws and he will judge those who put human law ahead of them. your God sucks

You are pretty much responsible for that funding ya know! You made sure the abortions got paid for! Did you just really want to help women to get abortion? Are you gonna fund it some more and keep posting? What would your God say about that? Would your God like that you chose to post even though you knew full well it would directly contribute to more abortions? Keep those posts coming Puddlegum and I’ll just keep providing money for women to get all the abortions they could ever want! You must want free abortions for women since you keep posting knowing I’ll buy them!

If the government doesn’t have the right to force people to be living organ donors to people who would otherwise die, they don’t have the right to force women to carry a pregnancy to term.

A woman can have sex 100 times in a year, and has the potential to only have one/two* pregnancy in that time. (*with the possibility of back to back pregnancies or multiple births) A man can have sex 100 times in a year, and has the possibility of impregnating 100 times. Makes PERFECT sense to me that if we really wanted to limit the possibility of abortion, it would be wise to make it more difficult for men to get women pregnant. But of course, the men would NEVER stand for that.
Also- to your second point about finding enough doctors to do it, when my husband had his procedure after the birth of our third child, the procedure took about 15 minutes. Several could be performed in a days time.
I consider myself a Christian. I would like for the need for abortion to greatly diminish, or even go away. That doesn't happen by simply making it illegal. It happens by offering sex education, access to contraceptives, financial support for single moms, etc. I would be very sad if my daughter or daughter in law, or one of my son's girlfriends chose to have an abortion, but I also respect their right to make that decision for themselves.

Yet Republicans do everything they can to prevent this from happening as well. I wonder why that is? 🤔 (Narrator: she knew exactly why)
