Is anyone watching this season? I was pretty meh about season 2 but I am liking this season much more. They really seem to be capturing the heartbreaking sadness. I've cried every episode. But not for Frank.

I'm watching it. I was sad when Frank died. I also teared up a bit when Jamie had to say goodbye to Willie.

I’m watching.
The show has made Frank much more sympathetic than the books did. Less time to get into it, I suppose. I always felt somewhat sorry for him - he was only reacting to the craziness that Claire brought into their lives, if badly at times.

Love love love... Last season was really interesting to me, once they got back from France. My family/ancestors were part of the Fraser clan. So it was emotional to watch what could have happened to them.

We're also on Season 2. While I have minor quibbles with certain plot points, overall I think the series does a great job of telling the story. I always liked Frank, and am glad to see him portrayed sympathetically.

I, too, was a bit meh about Season 2 Yogagirl. I didn't like that book very much either, so not surprising. This season has been great! The first images of the first episode pulled me right in. I don't think I've ever been so emotionally affected by any scene on TV ever ... and not one line of dialogue had been uttered. We have not seen the past 2 episodes. I need a 2-hour block of time so we can watch them back-to-back.

Anyone know of a place I can watch it for free or a reasonable cost? I'd buy the season if it was available on Amazon, but it's not, yet.

I don't see any Outlander listed on Netflix.

It's not. You can only get the DVDs on Netflix, which is why we're a season behind. Amazon Prime has a Starz subscription but I don't know if it's available in your location.

We are essentially considered US by Netflix, since we live on base. Our IP address is categorized as American. If I have to, I'll do the Starz subscription once they are all released, but I'm not willing to pay the monthly fee as episodes trickle in. And really prefer to own them (like I do the first two seasons) so I can watch repeatedly, but I may not be able to hold out until DVD release.
