I went back to 16:8 eating window and I’m thinking of stopping that. I lose weight but I workout every morning and I am hungry as hell when I get to work. If I worked out after work(which I won’t I know myself) it would be easier

Tpatt, does that just mean you are "allowed" to eat for 16 hours, and then you fast for 8?
I signed up for Green Chef, one of those meal delivery programs. The previous tenants had it and forgot to cancel, so we got a box of theirs to try for free. DH is doing keto, and I already struggle with knowing what to cook even before that huge limitation. After the discounted trial period is over (3 weeks), it gets kind of spendy so I don't know if we will continue but it will be a decent three week jumpstart if nothing else! The keto meals (they have other options, too) aren't super low calorie, but not too terrible. All were between 350 and 500calories per serving.

No I don’t eat for 16 hours and only eat for 8. Since I wake up and workout early that usually means I wait until 11 to eat and stop at 7pm. I ended up switching to 12-8pm eating. It ends up where you basically cut calories because you can only eat so much during the 8 hours so I am eating 3/4 of what I used to.

I gave up soda (mostly) but I tried Bubly and I like it. Nice substitute for soda when I crave one while eating lunch. I LOVE the Grapefruit Bubly. I read this 4 times before I stopped trying to figure out what a “grapefruit baby” was

Started WW on Monday and am down 3.2 pounds. Pretty happy with that!
Elliott is home now and he eats super clean so there will be lots of good foods in the house.
He and Nathan are cooking for me for Mother's Day. They are going to do Chicken, blackened brussel sprouts and roasted sweet potatoes.
It sounds delicious and won't be a cheat (like going out would be).

The scale *finally* moved again for me. I have 16 more lbs to lose but I think it’s going to be in quarter pounds or half pounds a week lol. But I’m down two sizes now (comfortably, not rolling around on the floor trying to zip my pants) so that makes me happy.

I weighed myself this morning and I am down 3 pounds this week. My sleep still sucks though, I am working on that. Was too tired to do core workout and battle ropes before work.

I'm still holding steady at 116. Tonight I made the mistake of weighing myself - 118! In the morning those 2 lbs will be gone. Where the hell do they go while I'm sleeping???

I'm just trying to make my leg work right, so I am ALL about the exercise these days! My leg isn't very grateful, but I must say that the rest of me is looking fine.

This is the only place I will share this I’ve found the only way I can lose weight is to track everything and weigh myself every day. It’s so easy for me to “wing it” - then I end up eating way more calories than I think I am. I’m determined not to end up like every other female in my family, overweight and diabetic. And I was certainly headed that way. At 5’4”, with a small frame, 178 was the serious wake up call. I’m at 1193 calories or less a day. 20 carbs max and 79 grams of protein. All my carbs are from veggies (and the two cans of Truly I drink in the evening). My biggest learning so far is that weight loss is not linear. I can’t get upset to be up a lb or two on any given day. And on days that I meet or slightly exceed my protein goals, I see a bit of loss the next day.

The app Happy Scale is good for frequent weigh ins since it shows trends in gains and losses

I really just wanted to encourage people. It’s so easy to get discouraged when the scale doesn’t move, or when it only moves a little bit. But I’ve also noticed that even if the scale doesn’t move, my clothes fit differently.
Thanks for the app suggestion Tpatt!

Though I haven't done anything about it in literally years, your sharing of your weight loss and your journey really does inspire me, Sprock, and make me believe it's possible for a regular person with a regular life. Please keep sharing!

My wife and I have been binge watching My 600 Pound Life. It’s trash tv but holy hell some of the people on the show make me want to throw something at the TV.
