Height: 5'6" Highest weight: 307
Have dieted my whole life. Had lapband in 2007; lost 115 pounds; gained much back. Lost to 193 with the help of a nutritionist (PhD) between 2016 and 2018 and was stuck there. Finally got fed up and went to Tiajuana and had band removed in August 2018 and revised to a vertical sleeve. Have lost to 162 now and am planning on reaching 153.5 (half my high).
Thinking about brachioplasty (arm lift) but that's the only plastics I'm considering. I'm 62 and nobody really sees the rest of my body. My belly looks okay; my thighs are awful, but it's the arms that really bother me. If I decide to do it; I'll get it done before the end of summer (need to reach goal and save the $$).

Height: 5'2" (almost) Highest weight: somewhere north of 270 (I stopped getting on the scale). I was basically circular back then (1995-6) Current weight: 198, which I've been maintaining (give or take a pound or 2)for over a year now Goal: 160 lbs I was a super active child, but always chubby/stocky. My hip problems got bad after I went through puberty, and I started gaining weight. I was working out with a trainer twice a week, but I put it on hold because of severe anemia earlier this year. I'm still below normal, but very close to it now, so I've been to the gym 3 times in the past week, and I'm going again this afternoon. I will be starting back with my trainer at the end of May. Nutrition: lower carb. I can't go full on keto because I need fruit.
Biggest challenge: time and meal planning

I’m not focusing on weight, so I’ll leave that off. I need to take my measurements but I’m more concerned with my health, and then my size as a byproduct of that. My goals: more sleep, stress management, walking regularly, strength training. In terms of nutrition, I am doing 5 days of low-carb alternative with 3 days of low fat. No sugar or wheat. Biggest challenge: finding time to exercise and to plan meals

Height 5'1 Current weight 150 Goal 120 Nutrition: reduce carbs, sugar, alcohol. Exercise: Yoga, walking and cardio/resistance.
Biggest challenge: Consistency. I have a good week or even 2 and then nothing. I can't seem to build on little successes.

I am loosely doing WW. I was doing pretty good and lost 16 pounds at the beginning of the year and then went off track. I have been doing pretty good this week. I need to lose a lot but am only setting small goals for my self as not to be overwhelmed.
Now that we dont have a million inches of snow it's been easier to take the dogs on longer walks.

My wife dropped a few more pounds the past couple of weeks. She’s back into weight training and she’s at the weight she was when we got married. Her wedding dress fits her again

I’m considering fasting for a day or two just to see the scale move!!

I've lost 6 pounds. I need to lose another 40. Or more. I'm considering WW (either actually signing up or just DIY). I'm considering joining a gym. I'm considering walking. Body weight exercises at home. Yoga. Ballet class (not barre, actual ballet). Getting together a little walking group at least once a week. Shopping moratorium until I hit an interim goal. Basically, I'm CONSIDERING a lot of things. Too many things, as it's making it hard to decide. For the next two weeks, I'm inundated with move stuff (which is actually great exercise) I've told myself that June 1, I WILL have decided on a few things and I will start them, and then adjust as needed.

I haven't stepped on a scale, but I've been getting to the gym 3 times a week for 2 weeks. I'll resume working with my personal trainer in June. I realized last night that if I lose 5 lbs a month, I will reach my weight goal by my 50th birthday. This is totally achievable! Doug and I are also going for a walk when I get home from work, just a slow walk around the neighborhood but everything helps.

So some things have been good; no alcohol for 2 weeks. Exercise has been pretty good. Eating has not. I let too much emotional shit impede me. That and everything has to be perfect. Someone was making coffee and humming in the next room so I let that ruin my yoga and piss me off for the day. The dog took too long to poop so instead of having 30 minutes to work out I only have 25 so forget it. Today I brought my yoga mat downstairs away from the humming coffee makers.

I’m still at 21 lbs lost. I haven’t really lost anything for about 1.5-2 weeks. I think I have some calorie/alcohol creep going on. And I had leftover ham yesterday which always affects me water-weight wise. I think I will have to give the rest of it to my sister.
I do *feel* good, tho. I’d really like to lose rest of the weight before November. (We are going to France). But with approx 17 lbs to go, 1 or 2 lbs a month is not going to cut it! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take any loss I can get. I’ll get there eventually.

I gave up soda (mostly) but I tried Bubly and I like it. Nice substitute for soda when I crave one while eating lunch.

Fired up my Carb Manager app again and have been tracking all my food. Boring stuff, but important.

I've been on the LaCroix (basically a different brand of Bubly) bandwagon for a while and love it. I'm also imposing a rule that when I eat out, I will only order water, unless I'm ordering alcohol. No soda or lemonade, and no iced tea (even without sugar) because I'm realizing I feel better without caffeine. That certainly isn't going to make me un-fat, but it's an easy step, one I know won't make me feel deprived, and every little bit helps. If that's 2 pounds a year, well... it's two pounds a year. 20 more of those changes and I'll be set by Christmas!
(In reality, I try not to think about a goal weight or a timeline as it depresses and overwhelms me. I just want to lose weight and be healthier and headed in the right direction.)

I don't drink soda but I have given up at home alcohol drinking. A can of Bubly makes me feel less deprived
