A visual representation of how many of us feel about him.

I don’t think she should have done it. I agree with her that Trump’s speech was a pack of lies, but that was not proper protocol (like when that guy yelled “you lie” at Obama - the SOTU is not the time/place). I do find it hilarious that so many republicans are clutching their pearls about this, and yet say nothing about Trump’s daily classless and despicable behavior.

A perfect example of all the childish behavior from BOTH sides of the aisle. I’ve seen 5yo kids with better behavior than most of our elected “officials.” They all disgust me.

I had a moment of feeling satisfied about it, but no, she shouldn't have done it.

Crappy, immature behavior like that solves nothing.

I get it, but not appropriate, same as yelling at Obama during his speech. Immature. And doesn’t seem to have the effect she desired. The dems are having a rough week, they looked inept in Iowa and now the look inept and petty.

I’m on the fence
His whole SOTU speech was a glorified campaign speech imho
It was petty of Pelosi, but I gotta admit ...satisfying , esp when that was the topic of interesting this am. Not Trumps speech

Classless. Lacking in dignity. Cheap. Tacky. Petty.
The moment I saw the look on her plasticized face...not puckered up as it should have been given her 80 years, but instead pulled into a death mask of cold calculation and too much surgery...smug under the too-dark for her age brown mop she calls hair, I wanted to smack her. (That is the sort of comment I imagine coming out of her mouth behind closed doors. Quid. Pro. Quo.)
It was a "dignified" version of the middle school boys taking other people's school work and shoving it down their pants as if to wipe their buttocks with the travesty.
She reminded me of a bitchy, long-in-the-tooth, should-have-retired-several-years-ago teacher I once worked with, who would behave petulantly any time anyone did anything that contradicted her "format". Mrs. Hagg had tenure, and she was riding that horse as far as she could before it collapsed underneath her.
I am absolutely, positively NOT a fan of our current Commander in Chief. Madame Pelosi's actions last night brought her down several notches closer to him.

Symbolic. In the face of the actual monstrous acts of this presidency, this action was a symbol representing the disposable nature of everything he says.
IOW, I disagree with Peanut.

She tore up the paper, but Trump gave Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom. Which is worse?

She could just as easily torn it up later, when cameras were not on her and she wasn't in THAT specific position. Those who actually "matter" would have seen it, and it would have gotten out. Sitting directly behind him, and side by side with Pence? Afford a bit more dignity to the seat you fill, and add a bit more class to an environment so sorely lacking it these days. She is third in the chain of command, for Pete's sake!

She tore up the paper, but Trump gave Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom. Which is worse? Medals of Freedom given by other presidents are honors. Medals of freedom given by this president are confirmation the person receiving it is indeed the lowlife scum we all suspected s/he was.

It was as childish as Trump not accepting her handshake. I didn't watch it. This is the first I've heard about that. Interesting, but not surprising, that the Pelosi thing is the story and there's not a word (or much word) about this. Thanks for mentioning it.
