A mommy blogger adopted a child, decided he was too much to handle and "re-homed" him. This made me feel physically ill.

Found an article. I tend to agree with a commenter in that article who said,"You literally adopted a child from China to create a cool aestheic and then gave him away when he became inconvenient."
They said there were issues they didn't know about before the adoption. Guess what? Most parents of kids with disabilities don't know about those ahead of time. Becoming a parent to fulfill a dream without being open to loving your child even if your kid doesn't check every box on your dream list is unfair to the child. I'm glad this child apparently now has a mother who loves him for who he is...but I detest the use of the term "re-homed". You re-home abused puppies, not children who don't play nice for your vlog any more.

I am disgusted. But honestly I hope his new family has better values.

I saw one comment online about her other kids being afraid of being “sent away”. Of course the parents might tell them “oh don’t worry you are our real children not adopted”...

Good thing the government requires prospective parents to pay a private agency at least $16,000 to make sure they’re providing an appropriate home and can care for a child after adoption. It’s clearly an effective screening process.

Well, I just hope the little guy is in a better place because they obviously don't have what it takes to give him the help and the love he needs, despite what they say. He's not an accessory or a puppy, and he deserves better than these two flakes. I just hope he finds it.

Yeah raising a special needs child is no walk in the park. This pandemic has my last nerve tested almost daily. The fact that she can just send back what they didn’t “order” or fit her narrative for her blog is beyond gross. I’m this close to losing all faith in humanity 😔.

Where does it even enter into peoples heads that they can just throw them back? They’re not fish. Jesus.

I read a story where she said he wanted this. He's 3 years old! There is no way he wanted this or even understood what was going on. This makes me sick and I hope he's with a much better family now.

I, too, have a three year old. He wants to open the front door and run into the street naked with sharpie marker covering every inch of his little naked body, balls included. I stopped him when I discovered him ringing the front doorbell. I don’t really let him make lifestyle choices beyond that.

I remember a letter to either Dear Abby or Ann Landers where a mother asked about putting her perfectly healthy baby up for adoption because she was a girl, and they wanted their first to be a boy. Abby or Ann said go do it, and reasoned because she didn't trust such a mother not to harm the child.

I believe some of her sponsors have dropped her. I don't feel sad for her one bit.
