She spiked a fever last night - a combination of chemo and her eczema acting up, they think. However, it was back down this morning. The poor kiddo has such sensitive skin and everything their doing is triggering a reaction. They may try lidocaine cream to numb the itchiness. She is on track to be discharged in the next couple of days - right now they're saying Sunday.

Some better news this afternoon! She is intermediate risk, which was the best staging we could hope for given the size of the tumor (it's bigger than her liver). They are going to continue chemo and reassess, I guess it's already smaller. The best news: no other cancer! It hasn't spread at all!

She spiked a small fever last night and had to go to the ER, but she's back to normal today.

Maeve is now in Skokie with Siobhan and the girls. She has decided to shave her head because Fionnuala said she hates being the only one with no hair. She's also knitting hats for all of them. Siobhan posted a video on Caring Bridge of a song the girls were making up about the tumor, and it transitioned at some point to being about boogers. 4 year olds are the best!
