If I lived there, I would be figuring out a way to leave ASAP. I wouldn’t want my daughter to grow up in a place where her legal status is essentially “Human Incubator”.

I’m not surprised
It’s been coming for years. Other states will follow I’m sure.
The only upside is if abortion is not an issue, perhaps people will stop voting for conservative Republicans who are prolife but also batshit crazy and ignorant

The first thing I did this morning was to message my cousins that if they are anyone they love need medical care they can't access, to come to me.
But so many people don't have a middle-income, knowledgeable cousin with the ability to coordinate medical care in a nearby city.

The only upside is if abortion is not an issue, perhaps people will stop voting for conservative Republicans who are prolife but also batshit crazy and ignorant The other upside is that this might end up screwing over the GOP in the midterms, if enough people are horrified and don’t want their states to follow suit.
