I'll start us off for the new year.
I got all the Little House digital books from our library and am going to reread them. It's been a long time since I've read them, so it should be fun and will keep me going for awhile.
I'm also reading a multi-volume Teddy Roosevelt biography.

London Falling by Paul Cornell. I think it's an urban fantasy but so far it's just urban . I'm not very far into it. I think my brother recommended it to me when I said I didn't care for the VE Schwab books.

Methods and Materials for Teaching the Gifted, edited by Karnes and Bean - part of my quest to Read All the Things about gifted education. I'm enjoying this one a lot. Unfortunately, when I made my interlibrary loan request, I left checked the "I'm okay with a different edition of this book" box, and I ended up with the oldest edition rather than the most current one. So some of the info is outdated. Still, a lot of good stuff in here.
I'm also in the middle of R. C. Sproul's The Gospel of God: Romans, but that one has to wait since this other one is an ILL book.

I have 40 pages left of Jacob T Marley. I think I’ll start A Newfoundlander in Canada by Alan Doyle next.

I have a number of classic books on my Kobo that I got in a bunch, so I've been going through them. I read Pride and Prejudice again, and I'm in the middle of Sherlock Holmes. Some of the books I have heard of, but never read before and know nothing about really. Which led me to reading Fanny Hill last week. I had no idea it was actual porn, 1750s style. I think I’ll start A Newfoundlander in Canada by Alan Doyle next. I just finished that. Very entertaining! But I love everything he does.

Have you listened to the audiobooks, read by Alan himself? He kept me entertained on a long solo drive.

I picked that one, too, but won't read for a bit, unless I get saturated with Little House and need an intermission. Let me know what you think of it.

I started re-reading The World According to Garp, which Maeve got for Christmas in the book exchange. She's going home tonight, so I will have to pick it up from the library to finish it.
I also have The Martian which is due on Jan. 15th, so I have some time to read that, and the book I got in the book exchange was the The War of Art.

I started The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck today and am finding it very fun. I've never seen the word "fuck" used so much in a single book before .

This week I read "What does this button do?" by Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer of Iron Maiden. I'm not a fan (but dh is), so I had no ideas going into this. What an interesting guy! In between tours and other music projects he became a commercial airline pilot flying the big jets, and teaches other pilots. And writes books.

I’m reading Fever Code, the latest Maze Runner book. So far (I’m half way through it) I think it’s the most interesting of the series.

I know some thought it was boring but I’m obsessed with both space stuff and anything “survivalist” themed so I thought it was fascinating!!

I finished The Martian and I loved it.
Siobhan sent me her final draft of her first novel, which is called Osleda: The Moor Ring. I am so excited to read it!
