The pictures floating around of her dressed up as The Cat in the Hat really show her up. She should be mortified but I'm sure she's not.

I agree with the librarian that the book donations would be put to better use in underfunded and poorly performing schools. I am sure this particular school library already has enough books, plus funding to purchase more, plus a high percentage of students who have lots of books at home.
That said, I don't agree with her decision to make this into a huge thing, and making it about racism was stupid. If I received books I didn't need for my library, I would just pass them along to a school or public library that could use them. The only point of that letter was self-righteousness.
Also, I don't get the Melania hate in general.

Yeah I saw that the other day - while the librarian might have had valid points I think they were lost in her self-righteousness. She jumped on a bandwagon and she's the one that comes out looking poor IMO
