I'll be flying alone to AZ in a few weeks, meeting some friends for a girls trip. I'm looking for a book or books to read during the flights there and back. It's about a 2 hour flight each way. I'm not really into sci fi or Lord of the Rings type stuff. I like a good mystery or thriller or even something historical if it has a good story. Last time I flew I read The Girl on the Train. Worked out perfect, I finished the first half on the flight out and the last half on the flight home lol.

Boundary: The Last Summer by Andree A Michaud is a great thriller - takes place at a cottage area on the US Canada border (Maine) in 1967 and captures the essence of the time and place well. Just make sure you get the translated into English version . I don't know if you've read We Were Liars by E Lockhart - it's YA but also would be a good travel book. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch is another good one - hard to describe without giving too much away. I guess technically a sci-fi but definitely has a thriller vibe. When I travel I often like to load short story collections on my ereader so I can read and get interrupted. I usually load science fiction or fantasy collections but there are collections for whatever floats your boat.

The woman in the window Little Fires everywhere Oooh, I just read a snippet about The Woman in the Window...that sounds really good! Sounds a little Rear Window-ish and I love me a good Hitchcock story.

It's been out for quite awhile so you may have already read it, but I enjoyed Madame Tussaud.
