It’s not a terrible name but if I was that kid I’d be annoyed if I found out my name was decided due to a publicity campaign

Harland is a nice enough name.
And you can call them by a middle name in everyday life, to avoid too much attention.

Many states allow parents to change baby's name within the first 6 (sometimes 12) months. So if you don't like it...
