You'd think the media would get their facts straight. The program to reimburse the insurance companies for their losses due to ACA was scheduled in the law to expire in 2017. In other words, it has been extended month-to-month since 1/1/17 with no Congressional approval. In addition, some of the extra funds are coming from CMS. Again, this is totally against the law and intent of ACA. healthpolicyandmarket.blogspot.com/2014/01/will-there-be-obamacare-death-spiral-in.htmlAbove is an article with more details from 2014. Critics of ACA brought up this issue of subsidizing the insurance companies and it's convenient expiration AFTER Obama left office. It was a time bomb. Obama and the Dems counted on this kind of reaction when it ended if Congress didn't extend it. (Evil, Heartless). This is part of the series of lies Obama uses to sell this. Remember it not adding to the deficit and anyone who said anything different was a liar?

He and his ilk are just so full of hatred that they don't care what they do to the people of this nation as long as they can destroy anything and everything Obama has ever done. It's disgusting and even more frightening.

Universal health care is pretty much inevitable at this point. Government has fucked it up so much that only government can fix it, and that process certainly didn't start with the ACA.

Government has fucked it up so much that only government can fix it I've never understood that line of thinking. Dealing with insurance isn't going to solve the underlying costs of health care delivery. I would think that someone in the business would be concerned how eventually the government would be in charge of salaries and move to a model where everyone is either a government employee or of a small number of medical-industrial megacorps that are essentially a huge government contractor.

I am concerned about it. That doesn't change my opinion that it's inevitable. Government has created so many barriers to solution that now government is the only solution. That's by design.
