Link: www.rt.com/news/443474-breastfeeding-flight-attendant-baby/I Breastfed a Stranger's Baby Inflight Thoughts? If you (or your wife) breastfed, do you think you'd offer to breastfeed someone else's hungry infant? Would you permit a stranger to breastfeed your hungry infant in this sort of situation?

I would offer and/or be grateful to the person who fed my hungry, crying baby.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. It was the mom's call to make, but it's not something you want to blast out on social media unless you're prepared for the backlash from the angry mob with an opinion.

The mom gave her permission so I don't think it's really any of my business. I'd probably agree to it too if I was that desperate. I do wonder how the mom ran out of formula. Did she have to stay at the airport overnight due to a delayed flight? Do the gift shops at airports sell formula?

I don’t care what other people do. My baby would have to be starving to death for me to let some stranger breastfeed him.

There are all sorts of things that cross through breast milk so I would be pretty leery about letting a stranger with unknown habits/potential issues breastfeed my baby. When my child was 1 month old I would have breastfed him myself . I'm not going to judge the mother though - who knows why she was at the airport for so long or why she ran out of formula - I remember being a parent of a 1 month old and how hard everything was - so she made the call that she thought was right. Kudos to the flight attendant though for being willing to do that.

I would have no problem breastfeeding someone else's baby in an emergency and would be grateful for someone doing so for me. Desperate times.

My father was wetnursed. The lady used to embarrass him on the high street by calling out "Mendele!! I saved yur life as a baby, and you can't even say Hello?"
