Down 3 lbs. Following the Beck plan and eating just normal stuff. Paying attention to what I'm eating, keeping my goals in mind and convincing myself I can wait until the next meal has really been helping. My dinners have been really small and I have cut out all the snacking while I cook I made sure to make a card for “standing eating” I am terrible about that.... I probably can consume 500+ calories a day eating while cooking, passing by the pantry.... The cards have really been helping me and yeah forcing myself to sit down to eat has had a big effect.

Picked up a pair of Powerblock dumbbells last week and an adjustable bench today to add to my workout routine. The heaviest dumbbell I had was a pair of 35s and when I priced out a pair of 40,45,50s it was just cheaper to get the adjustable Powerblocks.

Still only down 6.5 pounds, but trying not to focus on that. I worked out every day last week. (Well, Friday I took it easy but put in an hour and a half of walking.) Dh has noticed a difference in my body, as have I. I been mostly doing pool workouts, which I love. I overheat really easily, and the pool--which is probably a bit too cool for typical lounging comfort right now) takes care of that. It's great because it is zero impact but still an incredible workout, and I get both cardio and resistance in. I have a flotation belt and i got a book that list exercises and explains proper form.
Food is also better, though admittedly far from perfect.
I have to believe the scale will move again soon.

I am on week 6 of WW and really have found it pretty simple.
I'm down 14 pounds and super excited about it.

I lost 2 lbs this week, which was an incredibly stressful week when I felt like I was doing a lot of stress eating. I'm going back to 2x a week strength training this afternoon. Back on track!

I was a little concerned - I gained almost 3 lb after the surgery, but I was pretty puffy around the middle. It's been almost a week and my weight has dropped back down to 116. I can start doing a little more activity now so that should help keep things balanced.

Went back to the gym and regret all the times I didn't go! Now I have to recover lost ground to get back to where I was.

We're both still following Whole 30 and neither of us has cracked. lol. We have, however, made an exception for half and half in coffee because there are limits. I suppose we both feel good, but neither of us felt bad to begin with. We are cooking more, and that was a big goal.

I’ve heard you cannot outrun/out exercise a bad diet and after a year of being stubborn I’ve come to accept it as fact. Exercising more just makes you tired and more hungry.
I’ve also come to accept the fact that I need to do more stretching before working out.....

I’ve also come to accept the fact that I need to do more stretching before working out..... Based on personal history, I can confirm these. Plus, running and exercising when you're overweight just increase the amount of hunger and fatigue you feel . Stretching is the devil; I hate it. But, the older you get, the more you need it and warm-up sets. I hear Yoga is great, too. One day I may find that out....

Dropped 2 pounds this week, I’m trying the “honesty” diet. It’s where I’m honestly tracking instead of guessing or not counting that spoonful of peanut butter when I did a drive by past the pantry.....
I also started eating breakfast again. I usually make a big breakfast burrito and eat it when I get to work. I was having a rough time fasting until lunch because I lift weights and finish before 7am and I am freaking starving by 10am. So now I just eat between 9am and 6pm and I have a hard stop by 7pm.

I lost 2 lbs on my trip. Ate like a pig but I guess my activity level made up for it. I’m gonna try to keep it off.

I always lose weight on vacation. Combination of activity and more time to either prepare meals or have someone else prepare meals for me.

I too lost weight on my vacation last week. Walking 18K steps a day helps.
I'm in a new decade. Yesterday I weighed 159! No I need to make the decade change permanent. I'm only 5.5 pounds from my goal (1/2 of my all-time high weight).

I am going to a new PT. It’s the same office, but at some point between the end of January and the beginning of June, all the old PTs decamped to open a new practice elsewhere. The new PTs at clearly directly employed by the big health system that is gobbling everything up in my area.
They are also about 15 yo. No, actually the head guy is my youngest dd’s age and has his doctorate and so I’m guessing this is his first job. And actually - it’s great! They are very enthusiastic and their caseload is light and they have lots of time to think about my leg.
Only, this is now a very athletic workout. All the other patients are youngish with sports injuries and they are sitting there flexing 2 lb weights, while I do squats and planks and stagger around the room walking on my heels. LOL Seriously, I have to take a shower when I get home.

Me, too. Considering how much good food I ate in your neighborhood, I was surprised.

We had a family get together and this was just a sample of the buffet that was put out. My wife and I shared a piece of cake though. Some relatives kept asking my wife and I about Weight Watchers though because we had not seen many of them since last year
