I am so over it all. lol I counted today and this was the 8th ballot I have filled out since 2011, between the US and the UK. I have voter fatigue! Jeremy Corbin is so awful. If Labour had a better leader, they would have had a chance.
I guess we will see how Brexit shakes out, but I’m sure it will continue to be a mess. I think people are just thinking “let’s just get it over with” but even with Boris’s deal there are going to be years and years of negotiations. I have six years until my daughter graduates from HS, so I just need to stick it out until then.
The pound went up, at least.

I do wonder what will happen with Scotland. According to exit polls, the SNP crushed it and will have 55 seats.

I can see it - in five years, or two years, or one year, people are going to be yelling about how long it’s taking to get it done (to coin a phrase 😄)...and they’ll wonder why he wasn’t honest about how long it would take, or how it would affect the country.
I bet Nicola Sturgeon will push for another independence referendum.

Yes, that has been all over the news here for weeks. I just taught a class about it today because there were good examples of several different types of disinformation,
