So I read both Daisy Jones and The Six and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I was meh about both of them. I honestly don't understand the hype about this author. The Lying Game was pretty good. I'm now reading Love Lives Here. I know its not new but I like the writing style so far. I am waiting excitedly for the release of the Louise Penney/Hilary Clinton book!

I just read The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. It's a prequel to The Hunger Games and OMG it was excellent! I saw my grandson reading it, and he recommended it. I really loved The Hunger Games books anyway, there is just something about them, and yet I'm not big into fantasy books. I liked it except for the very end (it felt rushed).

I can understand why you thought that. I felt like the story could have/should have covered more of Snow's life - it ends and he's a young man, not even president yet. It did explain the rose he always wore though.
