This is a podcast I love, hosted by Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent from Ted Lasso). He invites on a guest, tells them they've died, and then asks them about their life through films. I thought it might be fun to answer the questions here.
1. What's the first film you remember seeing? 2. What was the film that scared you the most? 3. What was the film that made you cry the most? 4. What is a film that is not critically acclaimed or well liked but you LOVE IT? 5. What is a film that you once loved, but watching it now you don't like it anymore? 6. What is the film that means the most to you? Not necessarily because of the film itself but because of your experience watching it? 7. What is the sexiest film? 8. What's the film that made you cry the most? 9. What's the film you most relate to? 10. What's objectively the best film? 11. What's the film you have watched the most or could watch the most? 12. What's the worst film you've ever seen? 13. What's the film that makes you laugh the most? 14. When you go to heaven, where they have movie night every night and one night it's your night, what film would you take with you?

1. What's the first film you remember seeing? On TV, The Wizard of Oz. The first film I saw a movie theater was The Main Event, when I was about 7 years old. My two aunts who were nuns took me and my older sister. I remember seeing men's butts! 2. What was the film that scared you the most? Burnt Offerings. Starring Oliver Reed and Karen Black, two actors who are inherently terrifying. I would see the chauffeur's smile in my dreams and wake up crying! 3. What was the film that made you cry the most? In America. In the first three minutes of the film, this Irish family crosses the border from Canada to New York, and the border agent asks them "how many children do you have?" and the dad says "three" and the mom says "two". That's when I started crying and I didn't stop at any point in the movie. The two girls in the move were so like Siobhan and Maeve! 4. What is a film that is not critically acclaimed or well liked but you LOVE IT? Center Stage! 5. What is a film that you once loved, but watching it now you don't like it anymore? Also Sixteen Candles 6. What is the film that means the most to you? Not necessarily because of the film itself but because of your experience watching it? Two answers: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, because it featured heavily in my social life my senior year of high school. And The Fisher King, because I took my mom to see it and doing anything with her is always such a joy. 7. What is the sexiest film? The Unbearable Lightness of Being 9. What's the film you most relate to? Tough one. Some elements of The Brothers McMullen, some elements of Welcome to the Dollhouse... 10. What's objectively the best film? All That Jazz 11. What's the film you have watched the most or could watch the most? Raising Arizona or Jaws 12. What's the worst film you've ever seen? Scent of a Woman 13. What's the film that makes you laugh the most? Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles 14. When you go to heaven, where they have movie night every night and one night it's your night, what film would you take with you? Psycho Beach Party. I love it and no one else I know has seen it.
