Yes, I was surprised, too. The PX made dh buy something to cover his nose and mouth (wasn’t really a mask, it was more like the team buff on Survivor but in camo green) before he could go into the barbershop. They only allow one person in at a time, and besides the guy getting his hair cut at the time, no one else was there so dh just waited outside until he saw that guy leaving.

I had an appointment for today but the salon is closed so no cut/color for me. I'm not going anywhere so I'll just go with the flow and do ponytails until everything reopens. The salon ran a special around Christmas where if you bought a certain amount in gift cards you got an additional amount for free. So I bought the max amount (I think $200 that got me $300?) and just saved it for myself. Well I'm counting on that to get me through because that salon isn't cheap and I may be unemployed starting May 1 lol. Not sure if I'll be able to keep going there once the gift card money runs out so I'm going to have to ration those suckers.

I get my hair cut and colored every 5 weeks and I was due in January but had to postpone due to my surgery. I thought I would go in February, but spent the month in the hospital instead. By the time, I even had the energy to maybe go out of the house, everything was closed. I have pudding hair. You can see my real color and the real color I pay for.

I had a hair cut in early March and go about every 8 weeks so I'm still okay so far. I have been colouring my own hair for about 5 years. My hairdresser (bless her) told me everything to buy at Sally's. Just before everything shut down I was able to get a bottle of liquid dye but it wasn't my exact colour. I have since ordered 6 months worth of dye and root spray. I was so happy to receive that package this week!
My dh needs a hair cut and we might have to see if we can find some clippers. I think that might be a challenge.

I am fortunate that I do not have gray hair. It just gets shaggy because I keep it short now.

I am in a sad way. I've often said (since I started wearing my hair short and Arctic Blond) that I'd love to grow it out to see how it would look. Well...be careful what you wish for!
I can cut DH's hair all the time as I've been using the clippers on him for years. But I'm not comfortable having him cut my hair. Although he has offered.

I have been bleaching my hair platinum and was becoming overdue for an appointment when they shut everything down. I like the look of a bit of roots, but I'm well past Debbie Harry cool now.
My hair used to be very short and I was growing it out. I was trying to procrastinate a trim as long as possible.
My hair is very damaged. I had never heard of Opalux until a couple of weeks ago. My hair was becoming matted and nasty and my friend told me about it so I've ordered Opalux 3 - the stuff for home use. (I've also ordered some of the salon stuff on EBay). It's really helping to repair my hair and so I'm coping with the roots, which are now over 2 inches long.
I have ordered the stuff to properly bleach it, myself, but I'm procrastinating using it.
Because it was super short, it's growing out quite shaggy. Another inch or two and I'll be able to put it into a ponytail.
Until/unless I can trim my bangs, my forehead scar is just hanging out there.

Maeve dyed her hair blond last week. I'm not in love with it, but it's her hair.

I found a temporary solution to my gray hair problem (or root rot, as I’ve seen on FB 😂): eyebrow tint! Mine has a mascara wand so I can just touch up the roots that are showing depending on how my hair is styled. Desperate times and all that!

I had a coworker whose hair was nearly all white, but dyed dark. She kept a Sharpie with a really fat tip--probably an inch wide?--at her desk and would whip it out and do her roots with it!

Mine is a dark blonde/light brown with highlights. I told my coworker what I did, and she said she never would have known! I really can’t tell either, honestly. This will do well enough to tide me over.

I only get a hair cut about twice a year so it's not a big deal for me yet. My hair is down to my bra strap now which is about as long as it's been in a while. I did break down and cut my bangs the other day but only up to my nose when they were down to my mouth so not a huge change. I do get my hair highlighted every so often and my grays are really starting to show but I don't care too much about them.

My layers are growing out and I hacked my bangs. I can now easily cosplay Leather Tuscadaro on Happy Days.

I cut my granddaughter’s bangs because they were in her eyes & annoying her. It doesn’t look too bad. (I cut my own bangs most of the time.)

I washed my hair today and it actually dried rather attractively. Maybe I can ditch the layers when this is over.

My dh got desperate enough to actually ask me to help cut his hair yesterday. It didn't turn out too badly. (He is meticulous about his hair.)

I may take this time as an opportunity to give myself an old school punk haircut. Thinking about shaving off the hair on the right side of my head.

My hair is weird. It is naturally curly, but one side is way thicker and curlier than the other. It doesn't grow longer, it just starts to curl up more, and gets tighter. The other side loosens up and is less curly and more wavy... It hasn't always been this way. When I was younger, I had hair down to my hips. Sometime around the time I turned 40, it changed, about the same time my gray hairs showed up.
My hair is also very thick. I last had a cut a year ago. I have trimmed the ends myself a few times, but nothing major. I haven't dyed it in longer than that. My regular person had stomach cancer (now fully recovered, but not back in business), and my new person (family friend) was cutting out of her home the last time I went and wasn't set up for coloring. My grays are shining proudly. I don't really care about covering them anymore, honestly. I just want some of this thickness layered out before it gets hotter!
