DD wants us to watch Parks & Rec. I do like Amy Poehler, just not sure about the show. If you like Amy Poehler, give this one a try! It starts off as her show and widens our to other characters. I really enjoyed it, even as it meandered all over the place. I second this - it’s a great show! Also, The Good Place is really good. I think it was created by the same person/team that did Parks and Rec (but not 100% sure about that). |

I agree it is terrible, but I loved it so. LOL. SO cheesy, but man it made me relive my youth a little.

My husband is watching Cobra Kai. It is terrible.  i barely made it through the first episode It felt like a Nickelodeon show for 12 year olds. NOPE |

My husband is watching Cobra Kai. It is terrible. i barely made it through the first episode It felt like a Nickelodeon show for 12 year olds. NOPE I watched part of one episode and they played an REO Speedwagon song, which was the best part. Now I just leave the room if he turns it on. |

The Good Place series finale was great, had me thinking about it for days afterward We can't get it on the Amazon firestick, or netflix, or cable, so I had to use Kodi which was very spotty, so I'd watch it when I was babysitting at my daughters house. That's why I kept losing track of where I was. I'm going to give it another try (when we get Kodi working again) because I love a good finale! |

Parks & Rec - season 1 is iffy, but it gets better.
Mike Schur, who was the show creator (of The Good Place, too) is from West Hartford, CT, and he recently donated money for a walkway in a park in W. Hartford that will be called the Leslie Knope Walkway.

He co-created Brooklyn 99 as well (which is also excellent).
Fun fact: B99 is getting a Québécois version, called Escouade 99 (Squad 99). However, it’s taken some heat for casting white actresses for Latinas Rosa and Amy.

I was trying to get my husband to wear a kilt but it's a no go. lol I have a picture on my phone of my sweetheart in a kilt - we were in Scotland, so I made him try one on! He has good legs for a kilt! Alas, he wouldn't buy it. |
