I watched that one, Peachy. I love Chris O'Dowd and Melissa McCarthy! I only started it because Starling was my maiden name. 😂 It was so good!

I watched the first episode of Severance a couple of weeks ago, I watched the 2nd one last night and I think I have to rewatch both of them because I am confused!
I watched the whole first season and the last couple of episodes are batshit insane and the most tense I have ever been while watching TV.

Is anyone watching the Beverly Smith murder case on Amazon Prime? We live in this area, DH was working with the accused guy on the night of the murder (they were co-workers) and he knew the twins through their father who owned a cab company he used to work at. It is going to be very interesting to see if there is anything new presented that we haven't already heard over the many years since this happened.

I started watching Roar on AppleTV - it's an anthology type of show where each episode is a complete story. Pretty good so far. Although I can't believe they cast Cynthia Erivo and didn't have her sing something in that episode!

If you have HBO Max, there is a show with a similar kind of tone as the Great British Baking Show (generally wholesome, although a little more personal drama) called Dog House UK, it's a place in England called Wood Green where they re-home dogs, and the show is people coming in to adopt dogs, meeting dogs, and whether the dogs go home with them or not. Some very sweet dogs!

Loot on Apple TV is good - it's hard to go wrong with Maya Rudolph, IMO.

Anyone watching The Sandman? I was a huge Tori Amos fan so I read a bunch of the comics in the 90s, it's really good!

I watched it, never having read the comics. I enjoyed it, but I did have to cover my eyes when the Corinthian took his sunglasses off 😄 I hope Netflix will continue the series as I’m interested in some of the other characters that didn’t get much attention - would love to ser Johanna Constantine again, as well as Desire.
I had read that Neil Gaiman loved Tom Ellis’s Lucifer, but it would have been difficult to work that interpretation of the character into the show, so that’s why they went in a different direction. I would have liked to see Tom Ellis in the role, though.
