Continuing with Timeless and still interested, but the underlying conspiracy gets deeper and deeper, making it less episodic, which is slightly annoying and worrisome. I don't want this ti torn into Lost. I hate hart every series now has to have this sort of running, deep mystery. It's an interesting concept and the historical component is cool. Why can't that be enough?
Still, we are continuing to continue to watch it for now.

DH and I binged all day Saturday on just about every episode in all 6 seasons of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. I mean, ALL day Saturday. He fell asleep and I watched more. I have no shame.
I finally watched the first episode of The Office, after all these years. I did not like it enough to go back for more. The show generates some of the best memes on facebook, but he show is just....I don't know...too much.
I also watched the first episode of Afterlife with Ricky Gervais. I will probably watch more. I was warned about the ubiquitous use of the c-word, and I think there were 3 that first episode, but they didn't bother me enough to not watch. The English really do seem to like that word!

The first episode of The Office is not great, they really changed Michael Scott over the course of the first season.

The first episode of the Office USA was close to, if not exactly, word for word the same as the original. I think that version suited Ricky Gervais, but not Steve Carrell. I started enjoying The Office USA when it found its own rhythm.

I started enjoying The Office USA when it found its own rhythm. I think that's why I ultimately never got in to the office. I watched the first few episodes and it was exactly the same as the UK version, but not as good, and I dropped it at that point.

It definitely got better, although when I re-watch certain sitcoms, I tend to not enjoy them as much. I started re-watching How I Met Your Mother, and there are some serious consent problems in that show. Community is a huge exception, it gets better the more I watch it.

The first episode of The Office is not great, they really changed Michael Scott over the course of the first season. We started watching the Office and I remember it’s a remake of a BBC show. We watched the first episode of the British version afterwards and it was almost exactly the same... We started watching Rick and Morty on Hulu, I kept hearing about it for a few years now and never gave it a chance before

I generally love Dan Harmon's work something fierce, but I just cannot get into Rick and Morty.

My new phone came with a year of free Apple TV, so I loaded it up yesterday and watched the first 6 episodes of Mythic Quest - the 5th episode was outstanding. I'm slightly horrified that I watched 6 episodes in one day, a day on which I worked a solid 9 hours.
I watched the first episode of The Morning Show while I was working on tedious but not necessarily needing attention to detail spreadsheet work (mostly formulas, because Excel math is the best math!). Gripping!

I binged all 9 episodes of Mrs. America yesterday while avoiding watching any more news. It was excellent.

We binged Defending Jacob (AppleTV+) over the weekend. Lots of unanswered questions! We also watched A Confession (BritBox) with Martin Freeman. Seems to be a theme (murder) to our choices lately?😬

Seems to be a theme (murder) to our choices lately?😬 Hey, I also binged Defending Jacob (mainly for Chris Evans, I am not ashamed to say). I thought it was fairly good, had sort of a Scandi-noir or British noir feel to it. However, every time I looked at Michelle Dockery I saw Lady Mary 😄

We started another UK show - Bodyguard. Excellent so far.
We gave up on Mad Men - it just sort of fizzled.

Not the most cheerful series but Das Boot season 1 (sequel to the original Das Boot) on Hulu is pretty good.

I’m watching Murdoch Mysteries. It’s fun as long as I don’t think too hard. Which is a nice thing to do sometimes right about now!

We started watching Murdoch Mysteries, and it's all like "this is cozy English mystery with adorable old people,", and then there was incest! It was a tonal shift I did not expect!
