It has been said Joe Biden's VP running mate could make or break his campaign. Who would you like to see in the position? Link

I will be ok with anyone. I think it's going to be Elizabeth Warren, though

I will be ok with anyone. I think it's going to be Elizabeth Warren, though I think that would be a mistake, I feel like she just turns off a lot of moderate folks.. I think he should choose a female, moderate republican. Crazy I know, but hear me out.. This country is so incredibly divided. I think a Biden/female moderate republican ticket would really bring over moderate Republicans and independent voters. They’d feel like their opinion would be taken into account.. it would promote unity instead of divisiveness... if a moderate, female republican was his running mate I cannot see him losing. 🤷♀️

I don't think the Dem party has to pander to the Republicans or Moderates. They need to get their own party to come out in droves. There will be (and are already) plenty of people bailing on Trump in favor of Biden.
Many Bernie progressives will be pleased with a Warren pick.
If people think Trump is better than anyone Biden picks then they are already a lost cause and / or weren't going to vote for him anyway

To be clear, I'm voting for Biden no matter who he picks.

To be clear, I'm voting for Biden no matter who he picks. Biden could choose a grapefruit as his running mate and I'd still vote for him.

No matter who he picks. I think the likelihood of a moderate Republican or Independent voter voting for somebody who isn’t Biden is higher than that. That’s why I think he should pick a female moderate Republican.

I won't vote for a republican again for a very, very, long time...if ever.

For almost my entire life, the GOP has gotten into office, screwed up the economy, a Democrat gets elected, makes the sometimes hard choices that have to be made to get things back on track, actually improves things, and then the anti-tax brouhaha revs up, a Repub gets elected, and we go back into the same cycle.
The GOP is now the party of white supremacy and ignorance. Their "fiscal conservatism" has been shown to be complete bullshit, time and time again.
Biden should absolutely not pick a Republican running mate. Sane, moderate Republicans should be taking a hard look at their party and what it has become.

no effing way should he pick anyone but a Dem.
I follow a couple of pages of Republicans who are committed to voting for Biden. Plenty have already bailed on Trump. He doesn't need to pander.
If people vote to re-elect Trump, no one Biden picks could have stopped that.
There will be plenty of cheating and voter suppression to overcome, too.
Barr stated yesterday that depending on "what it is " it's ok for a President to accept foreign help. He also set up a challenge to leaving the WH if the results aren't clear.
Effing nightmare this Administration is, and if people think that Biden"s VP pick is a reason to re-elect Trump then they are hopeless.

I concede that there or some moderates who may choose Biden with a Republican VP over staying home or a third party vote. I don't think *anyone* will choose Biden with any VP over Trump. If they are comfortable voting from Trump at this point, then a moderate VP on the Dem ticket will move the needle zero percent for them.
And I think that a Republican VP could push liberal voters toward a third party. So at best, it seems like that would be mostly a wash.
The Rs seem to have no problem constantly being the party who refuses to budge. They whip their votes and toe the party line and get what they want. Meanwhile, the Dems compromise and concede. And typically, that would be a good thing. But when only one side is compromising, it becomes something else. And when we are in the middle of white supremacy and federal troops snatching people off the street into unmarked cars and firing less-lethal weapons on protestors and medics and media--that seems like the time to stop rolling over.

I look forward to watching a Harris/Pence debate. She is smart, informed, dignified...pretty much the opposite of him.
