I have spent a lot of time with Community since the pandemic started and I have found every season has some brilliance in it, but they do call Season 4 the gas leak season.

We also started Little Fires Everywhere with Reese Witherspoon, and (sigh) Joshua Jackson. It's pretty good!

I added Disney+ for Hamilton, and scrolled through the options last night. We watched a very ancient episode of The Mickey Mouse Club (Annette was so young!), and then we switched to Netflix and watched a couple of episodes of Nadiya's Time To Eat - she was the winner of the Great British Baking Show and now has a show all about shortcuts to making good meals for your family at home. In one of the episodes she visited a salmon farm in Ullapool, Scotland, which is where I had one of the most lovely nights of my life.

We started watching Victoria several years ago and drifted away from some reason, but have started up again and are really enjoying it. It might be a good substitute for those finished with current The Crown episodes. I'm only marginally familiar with Victoria's life so I can't say how accurate it is, but it's engaging and interesting.

Victoria is really good. In the third season (I think), one of the storylines is about the cholera outbreak in London and the doctor named John Snow who traced its origins - some call this the beginning of modern epidemiology.
I’m hoping it comes back for a fourth season, but AFAIK nothing has been announced as yet.

We watched the first two episodes of Midnight Diner last night - it's very sweet.

Started watching Hamish MacBeth, mostly to look at Scotland. It's all right. It's more Doug's taste than mine.
Watched about 15 minutes of The Midnight Gospel on Netflix. Gorgeous animation, dudebro writing. Not for me.

Watched I'll Be Gone in the Dark and the first two episodes of Perry Mason last night. Both pretty gripping, although only one of them had a large penis on display, I'll let you guess which one that is.

We watched the first two episodes of Midnight Diner last night - it's very sweet. Is this the Japanese show or is there a different Midnight Diner? We watched it a couple years ago and it was... odd. Enjoyable, but odd.

Today I watched the original Freaky Friday on Disney+ and relived my youth, lol. Then I watched Invincible, also on Disney+. Over the last couple of days, my daughter and I have watched all the episodes of The Floor is Lava on Netflix. Dumb, but entertaining.

Enjoyable, but odd. There are two versions on Netflix, the original episodes and then episodes made for Netflix. (I started this as well!)

Has anyone watched Upload on Amazon Prime? Really liked that one!
Right now I am catching up on Atypical on Netflix.

Just discovered that A Mighty Wind, Waiting for Guffman, and Best in Show are all now on Hulu... so I am going to be rewatching those for the next little bit.

So far, I have watched Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind. I discovered that For Your Consideration is also on Hulu, and there was a new one I hadn't heard of, Mascots, on Netflix. Just finished that. Saving Best in Show for last.

I think I saw Mascots - it has Chris O'Dowd in it?
We watched Best in Show last night.

Is anyone else watching I'll Be Gone in the Dark on HBO? I had goosebumps watching the most recent episode.
Doug watched Forks Over Knives and I think we're about to try eating a plant based diet with no dairy, for at least a month. He has lost about 50 lbs since we met and was briefly off of medication for cholesterol and high blood pressure, but his numbers are back up again even though he's only gained about 10 lbs back. So he wants to get back off the medication and he's interested in trying, and even though I love both meat and dairy, I'm going to take the journey with him. Certainly won't hurt me!

We watched the first 2 seasons of After Life with Ricky Gervais - it's excellent.
Now we are watching Dr. Foster - another good one.
We have been watching Marchella but it's a little harder to stick with.
And we also started Dead To Me with Christina Applegate and Linda Cardinelli - its really good!
