Almost done with season 4 of Schitt's Creek. I go back and forth with comedy/dramas.

We started watching Alex Rider on Amazon Prime - sort of a teenage spy thriller.

We started Orange is the New Black tonight. I read the book and really liked it - not sure how the show will do compared to it.

I'm almost through my second viewing of The Queen's Gambit (dh's first). I think next up will be Designated Survivor, and I want to check out The Order.

We watched the first episode of Peaky Blinders and really liked it. However, I think that I‘ll have turn turn on subtitles because the Irish accents are killing me.

Currently subjecting DH to Hallmark Christmas movies. I used to ABHOR them, but somehow, they have grown on me.

I have started Lucifer. It’s different than I thought it was going to be, in a good way. Tom Ellis is so much fun. And yummy, which doesn’t hurt.
I’ve also started the second season of Virgin River, which showed up on Netflix today. I am sort of hate watching it. Lovethe familiar scenery (shot in rural BC ),and some of the storylines are okay, but some are really really dumb.

Currently rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Does anyone else find it comforting to rewatch shows they've watched many times before? Yes! There’s some psychology behind that, but I’d mess it up if I tried to explain it. Something about already knowing how it ends relieves anxiety. No wonder I watch the same movies over and over again.

We watched 1917 Saturday night. Gripping film, I cried a lot, and war continues to seem like a colossal waste of human life and money.

We binged The Undoing over the past couple of evenings. Loved the defense attorney, I could listen to her read the phone book.
It amused me when the lawyer told Nicole Kidman that people would be watching her every expression. Her face is so tight now that I'm not sure she has any expressions!

I loved her green coat, too, although I'm way too short to pull off a long coat like that.

I loved The Undoing and when I found out that it's over, no new season, I was all I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! I did love her hair and wardrobe but the Hugh Grant character kept me intrigued - a big departure for him! And he has aged and, dammit... that means I have too! LOL
Queen's Gambit was great. Right now, I'm trying to get into The Sopranos. I've never seen it before and heard it was good, but even after a few episodes, I'm not feeling drawn in. So last night, I started Alias. THAT got me involved from the first episode. I'm glad to have something with at least a handful of seasons! When it's a 1-or-2 season show, I blow my wad too quickly.

Oh, you really should stick out the Sopranos! It's really good. Have you watched Breaking Bad yet?

Oh, you really should stick out the Sopranos! It's really good. Have you watched Breaking Bad yet? Loved Breaking Bad (even though I usually don't love really violent stuff)!! I promised a friend I'd give the Sopranos a fighting chance. It's his favorite show ever and he thinks I need to watch it all. LOL I think my favorite show ever is The Newsroom with Jeff Daniels. I just rewatched that and still loved it just as much. So good.
