Last spring, New Yorkās Public Theatre uploaded some videos of actors reciting Shakespeare, and one of them was Pedro doing Romeoās soliloquy to Juliet as she stands on the balcony...in Spanish š„š„š„

And I discovered the show Evil on Netflix, CBS renewed it for a second season so I am going to give it a shot. Dh and I watched that last year. It had it's issues, but we enjoyed it. I havenāt, and I think I would love it! Iāve heard and read so much about it over the years - I didnāt watch when it first came out because my first child wasnāt quite a year old and I still didnāt have my head on straight š Definitely watch Firefly and Serenity! Out of Gas is one of my favorite episodes of all time, of any show. We put on A Place to Call Home because he was surfing around and I saw it come up and remembered Mamapalooza's post. We watched one episode and I already am hoping for a terrible death for the matriarch. Oh yeah, that's a character you love to hate. It's one that develops though, her motivations become clearer in season 2. But what an incredible lack of self-awareness. |

As for the "rewinding" thing, last week I told a 20 something at work that I was "dialing" the phone and she looked at me puzzled. Gah.

A long time ago my parents kept putting off getting a touch tone phone..... I HATED it when I would get the āpress 1 to speak to so and soā.....later it seemed the āor holdā was added |

Several years ago, in one of my classes, we were playing a game where we had to pantomime activities. One of the actions was to roll down a car window. Me, and the other over 40 student both "rolled down" the window, by rolling our hand in a circle motion, while the younger students, all pressed a button. I felt older than dirt, lol.

I remember reading something good about Angel back in the day, so I tuned into an episode. And somehow hit on the one where Angel gets turned into a Muppet. I was all WTF? and didn't try again.  I hadn't watched Buffy then anyway, so it's probably for the better. |
