I've been watching a lot of random historical documentaries. The latest were one on the aftermath of the Titanic, and one about the war of 1812.
I'm also finally watching Ted Lasso. And loving it. Kinda fluffy, kinda not. Outstanding acting.

Doug and I watched the first two episodes of season 2 of Resident Alien last night. I love Alan Tudyk. I love Resident Alien!

DH has started watching Cobra Kai. I admit to watching a few episodes, but grown men behaving like teenagers annoys the crap out of me, so now I usually leave the room or get a particularly engaging book to read. It stinks that this season of SEAL Team (which I do watch, despite Jason’s & Sonny’s temper tantrums) is over because now dh will be looking for more action-type shows to watch. And now, Julian McMahon is leaving FBI: Most Wanted in March.

Finished Ted Lasso. Words can hardly express how much I love that show. The dialogue, the character development, the acting, Giles (that was awesome, did not know he was in it until he came on screen!). I can overlook some plot holes.
Now the wait for season 3, which I understand is starting shooting this month.

I love it too, Nansel. Hannah Waddingham is a revelation. And the actor who plays Higgins also played a stuffy butler on Downton Abbey for a few seasons, so seeing him in this role was hilarious 😄

We started watching The Woman In The House Across The Street From The Girl In The Window, with Kristen Bell Watched 2 episodes - it shows great promise and it's not like anything else on TV for sure! Kind of dark, funny, odd.

Ted Lasso is so wonderful.
Abbott Elementary is worth a watch. The woman who plays the principal, Janelle James, is a standup I've loved for years, she is killing it.
The tone of the The Woman in the House etc. is so weird! We watched the first episode. It's creepy and sad but also kind of funny, but it doesn't seem deliberately funny? Just a little weird.

New favourite show! We started watching The Gilded Age - Julian Fellowes (same guy behind Downton Abbey) did this - it's excellent!

Spencer is available to watch on Hulu. I adored Princess Diana, but I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart. With her Oscar nomination, I figured I'd give it a try. Oof, I don't think I'll be able to even finish it. Very disappointed.

Is anyone else watching Abbott Elementary? It's reminding me a little of Parks & Rec but definitely a better first season so far.

HBO Max has a couple of new shows we're enjoying: Our Flag Means Death and Minx. The first episode of Minx has SO. MANY. PENISES. of all shapes and sizes. Our Flag Means Death has an extremely earnest Rhys Darby and Taika Waititi as Blackbeard.

I watched the whole season of Life and Beth. Having complicated family relationships of my own, it hit me hard, emotionally. Also, I am a huge fan of Amy Schumer's husband - I watched their pandemic series where he cooks and he was so lovely.

Has anyone else watched Raising Dion on Netflix? I guess it’s based on a comic book. We just started season 2. It’s interesting.

Doug watched Raising Dion while he was home on medical leave - he liked it.
We watched Nobody last night - it was like John Wick but instead of a dog, it's cat bracelet.
